Located in Olde Town Arvada just outside of Denver, Bella Bistro has a passion for the food, wine, people, and culture of Italy. We thrive on fresh seasonal and local products. Our chef, Shelly, is known to think outside the box and does not shy away from the unusual, the extreme, or the grand.

In addition to restaurant dining, cooking classes, wine tastings, ladies' nights, and other events open to the public, we also host private team building events, cooking classes, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, cooking classes, and intimate gatherings with family and friends.

Chefs' Trip to Italy, Summer 2013

Chefs Shelly and Talia will be in Italy June 19th - July 4th, 2013, taking a group from Colorado with them. They will be spending time in Rome and on the Amalfi Coast. This is Talia's first trip to Italy, so we are very excited for her! There will be winery visits, truffle hunting, and cooking classes. Follow their adventure on Facebook.

Chef Shelly Attended the 2012 Vinitaly Wine Exhibition in Verona, Italy

Vinitaly is the biggest wine exhibition in Italy and this year it took place from March 25th to 28th. Every year around 4000 wine producers and distributors from all over the world present their wines at the trade fair of Verona (VeronaFiere). Visitors to the exhibition can participate in technical tastings of wine and spirits, overviews of wine-making realities in Italy and abroad, conventions, conferences, as well as forums and seminars with experts, sommeliers, winery owners, and wine producers. Our Trip to Sicily

Chef Shelly and Chef Chris had a great time in Sicily in 2011 with a group of Bella Bistro customers! They stayed at an agriturismo in Menfi near Cantine Barbera, a winery owned by Marilena Barbera who joined them for a week of food and wine vacation. Thanks to everyone for making the trip a wonderful experience!

Life is Pink Event a Great Success

A special thanks from Shelly to everyone who attended our Life is Pink evening! The event raised just under $10,000 for children with cancer through the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at The Children's Hospital. It is great to know that so many people have such big hearts and believe in making a difference in children's lives!
