Classes

If you would like to join us for a cooking or wine tasting class, please contact us to reserve your place. Gift cards redeemable for dining and classes are available - please inquire at the restaurant or contact us online.
Cooking classes usually are 2½ to 3 hours in length. Come hungry - we eat everything we make. You will receive recipes and instructions, and the cooking classes are hands-on. You may also book a private cooking class for family and friends. Private cooking classes can be booked through Shelly and are held on Saturday mornings, Sundays, and Mondays. Bella Bistro also hosts a series of wine tasting classes. Learn how to taste wine like a pro from our expert guests while enjoying Chef Shelly's excellent appetizers, all for $25. Each month we will have new wines, new recipes, and special guests. You'll go home with lots of information and Shelly's appetizer recipes, ready to host your own wine tasting with friends! The series generally takes place on the first Monday of each month - see the wine tasting schedule below for details or contact us for more information.
Wine Tasting Class Schedule

Special Guests Charles Lazara and Michael Bradshaw from Volio Vino
Monday, February 6th at 6:00pm - Michael has played a special role with the wines at Bella Bistro from the very beginning. We are very proud to support the small Italian family vineyards that Volio Vino represent. Michael and Charles will lead you through the wines as Shelly works in the kitchen to prepare the foods that are paired with this special tasting.

Valentine's Day
Saturday, February 11th at 10:00am - Learn to prepare a romantic dinner for two including Bella cobb salad, beef wellington with red wine demi, and chocolate souffle. $65
Pasta
Saturday, February 25th at 10:00am - Cannelloni stuffed with chicken, asparagus, roasted red pepper, and spinach with bechamel sauce, and tortelloni stuffed with ricotta, mushrooms, and leeks, garnished with egg yolk. $65
Healthy Eating
Monday, March 5th at 11:00am - Shelly will be sharing her quest for eating fresh and healthy. You will learn to use grains, vegetables, and time-saving tricks to make cooking healthy dishes easy, even for busy schedules. $50
Pizza, Foccacia, and Sweet Dough
Saturday, March 17th at 11:00am - You will learn to make Bella's thin crust pizza dough, Shelly's favorite focaccia dough, and sweet dough with pistachio filling. $65
