Cooking classes are usually 2½ to 3 hours in length. We eat everything we make, so bring your appetite! You will receive recipes and instructions, and the cooking classes are hands-on. Wine, beer, and mixed drinks are included in some classes (see listings below), but not all. You may bring your own beer or wine to any class.

You may also contact us to reserve your spot over the phone with a credit card. Please give 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your reservation. Private Cooking Classes
You may have a private cooking class in your home or at Shelly’s culinary studio. There is a minimum charge of $400 for an afternoon event (3-course lunch for up to 8 people), and $550 for an evening event (4-course dinner for up to 8 people). Pizza & Bocce
The pizza oven will be ready in June for private pizza and bocce parties! Includes one pizza per person, fresh salad, dessert, and bocce. Choose up to four different pizza toppings. $55 per person M-Th, $65 per person F-Su. BYOB – bring your favorite beverage to compliment a friendly game of bocce and a pizza. Gluten-free crusts are available upon request – please mention at the time of your booking.
I’m working on new gluten free recipes all the time! These include gnocchi, pizza, baked goods, and more. In today’s world so many people suffer from gluten intolerance – it could be you, a family member, or a friend. I strive to make gluten-free taste and look good.
The Whole 30
In the Whole 30 Challenge you give up alcohol, dairy, grains, and sugar for 30 days. It’s a time to recharge your body and get rid of any inflammation. I took the Whole 30 Challenge in January and I made it my goal to make great healthy meals.
We’ll make a variety of breads including French baguette, fugasse, focaccia, pizza dough, pretzel rolls, and hamburger buns. I love to make bread so I am always adding to my recipe collection.
I am constantly adding to my collection of pasta tools. I would have to say making pasta is one of my favorite things to do. I teach the basic pastas as well as Italian regional specialties.
Sauces always add the special finishing touch to any dinner, whether a truffle cream, red wine demi glaze, port cherry, Marsala, or simple red sauce. A sauce can be paired with a protein to create a tasty dinner.
Name your meat: pork belly, veal, pork or lamb shank or short ribs. Winter is the best time of year to braise. Learn all the tips and techniques and sit down to a wonderful dinner.
The most common mistake with grilling is over-cooking. You will learn to grill meats and seafood to the perfect temperature so that they will not be dried out. Learn to make rubs, marinades, sauces, and salsas. Make everything on the grill so you can enjoy the outdoors.
