Tuesday Wine Flights

Join us every Tuesday for special wine flights. Taste three new wines every week, specially selected by Chef Shelly to please the palate of any wine enthusiast. Price ranges from $15 to $20, depending on selections.

Denver Restaurant Week

It's almost time for this year's Denver Restaurant Week! This two-week celebration of the culinary scene in Denver will take place February 25th - March 9th. Bella Bistro and other participating restaurants will offer a special multi-course dinner for the fixed price of $52.80 for two, or $26.40 for one (not including tax or gratuity). More details about the entire event will be availble soon on this website.

Germano Wine Dinner

Join us at Bella Bistro for a dinner featuring the wines of the Germano winery on Tuesday March 20th at 5:30-9:00pm. The Germano wines blend modern winemaking techniques with respect for the flavors and traditions handed down from the previous generation. For more on these wines and their maker, visit the Oliver McCrum Wine Importer website and the Ettore Germano website (Italian only). Wines to expect: Chardonnay, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Barolo.

Go to Italy!

Shelly is planning a trip to southern Italy in 2012 that will include a visit to The Awaiting Table, a cooking school in Lecce, Italy owned by Silvestro Silvestori. In addition to being a cooking instructor, Silvestori is a nationally-certified Italian sommelier, amatuer olive oil producer and wine maker, writer, international culinary and enological journalist, and photographer. Chef Shelly to Attend the 2012 Vinitaly Wine Exhibition in Verona, Italy

Vinitaly is the biggest wine exhibition in Italy and this year it will take place from March 25th to 28th. Every year around 4000 wine producers and distributors from all over the world present their wines at the trade fair of Verona (VeronaFiere). Visitors to the exhibition can participate in technical tastings of wine and spirits, overviews of wine-making realities in Italy and abroad, conventions, conferences, as well as forums and seminars with experts, sommeliers, winery owners, and wine producers. Our Trip to Sicily

Chef Shelly and Chef Chris had a great time in Sicily with a group of Bella Bistro customers! They stayed at an agristurismo in Menfi near Cantine Barbera, a winery owned by Marilena Barbera who joined them for a week of food and wine vacation. Thanks to everyone for making the trip a wonderful experience!

Life is Pink Event a Great Success

A special thanks from Shelly to everyone who attended our Life is Pink evening! The event raised just under $10,000 for children with cancer through the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at The Children's Hospital. It is great to know that so many people have such big hearts and believe in making a difference in children's lives!
